Welcome to Fourth Grade!

Hi, I am Dawna Meador, the fourth grade teacher at Kell Grade School. I graduated in May of 2020 from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. 

I became a teacher because I love children. My mother is a teacher and inspired me to follow in her footsteps. I was not raised in Kell, but I have strong ties to the community. When, the opportunity came for me to work at Kell School, I was excited. I love being a part of the Kell family. 

I grew up in Iuka, but I currently live in Salem, with my husband and several pets. We own a small goat farm.
